Industrial power inverters serve a great purpose in any industry. They help prevent damage to expensive pieces of equipment because of power outages, and can even improve the equipment’s working efficiency. 1. The right operating conditions

It’s not enough to just install modular inverters. Make sure you install it in the right working environment because inverters don’t work to their full potential in adverse working conditions like contaminated air.

If you have no option but to use your inverter in a poor operating environment, use only a NEBS Level 3 certified industrial power inverter, which functions well even in adverse working conditions.

2. Read the user’s manual

No matter how boring the user’s manual may be, or even if you have installed inverters before, read it before installing your inverter. While inverters serve the same function, there’s a difference in the materials required for installation, where it can be mounted or sometimes, even the electrical system may require reconfiguration.

Reading the manual gives you an idea of the modular inverter’s requirements and even has a contact number you can call if you face any problems during installation.

3. Customized modular inverters

If you don’t find the right industrial power inverter for your power load, don’t make the mistake of compensating by buying and using a smaller or bigger load unit. Too small inverters only jeopardize your equipment while bigger units are a waste of your time and money. There are many inverter manufacturers that will create customized inverters for your required power load.

4. Proper wires for the power load

If you are installing a new inverter for a piece of equipment with a higher load capacity, then do not use the same connector wire that was used for connecting the old inverter to the electrical system.

Instead, buy and use a new, heavier wire that easily supports the increased power load. Using the wrong, thinner wires only leads to premature burning and can even trigger a fire.
